Peach Juleps is a cocktail that is made with peaches, bourbon, and freshness of mint leaves.
Size up on your summer with this cool cocktail. The sweet taste of peach going the extra mile with bourbon is a great way to hang with your friends and family during the summer heat.
Glasses for serving
10 fresh mint leaves
A teaspoon of sugar
1/2 cup peach puree
1/4 cup bourbon
1 tablespoon of lemon or lime juice
2 cups sparkling water
In a large pitcher, mash up the mint leaves and sugar with the back of a spoon. The sugar will kinda exfoliate the mint and help release all of the mint’s oil.
Once mash, add the peach puree, bourbon, and lemon juice then stir it together
Add the ice and sparkling water, then stir again until fully incorporated
Pour the drink in a glass and garnish it with a few mint sprigs or an slice peach and Enjoy your drink!!
If you can not find any peach puree, you can just throw a couple of ripe peaches in a blender or food processor until smooth (remember to remove the pit). Then done !!!
Peaches are not in season; you can also use canned peaches; just make sure you rinse them out from the juice. You do not the taste of the can and extra sugary liquid in the drink. It will affect the bourbon in a horrible way
